Directions:

GPS and internet searches, such as “Mapquest”, looking for “1853 Glenarvon Drive” have become more consistent and reliable in recent years.

1) Coming from the east, (“Richmond”), on I-64, (option “A”, using larger roadways):

Exit I-64 at “Zion Crossroads”, where Highway 15 crosses I-64. 

Signs on I-64 mention “Palmyra” and “Fork Union Military Academy”.

Proceed SOUTH on Highway 15, passing through “Palmyra”, and on to “Fork Union”.

Less than a mile after passing the Fork Union Military Academy, (on your left),  turn LEFT on county road 655, called “West Bottom Road”, next to an independent filling station.  There are no more turns to make.

Take 655 approximately 4 miles, to a stop sign at its intersection with county road 656, (called “Bremo Road”).

655 becomes “Glenarvon Drive” at that intersection. Proceeding on “Glenarvon Drive”, you will pass gates on your right into the show riding and driving ring area, then a cemetery on your right, followed by an End of State Maintenance sign. The paved road ends and becomes a gravel drive for the next mile.

2) From the east on I-64, (option “B”, using some smaller roadways):

This route is shorter than option A.

Exit I-64 at “Oilville / Goochland”, turning SOUTH on the service road. 
Proceed to the traffic signal at Route 250, and turn RIGHT (WEST) on Route 250.

Proceed on Route 250 for nearly one mile, then turn LEFT on to county road 632.
In a bit more than 5 miles, 632 ends at county road 522, next to a shopping center in Goochland.

Turn LEFT on 522  and proceed several blocks to the traffic signal at the intersection of 522 and Highway 6.

Turn RIGHT , (west), on Highway 6, and proceed through “George's Tavern”,“Columbia”, and across the Rivanna River bridge. As you climb the hill after the Rivanna River, county road 656 (called “Bremo Road”) will appear on your left. Turn LEFT on 656 and proceed nearly 6 miles to the intersection of 656 and 655, (the West Bottom Baptist Church is located at the intersection).

Turn LEFT on county road 655,  there named “Glenarvon Drive”. Proceeding on “Glenarvon Drive”, you will pass gates on your right to the show riding and driving ring area, then a cemetery on your right, followed by an End of State Maintenance sign. The paved road ends and becomes a gravel drive for the next mile.

3) From the east, (the “Richmond” side), using Patterson Ave. (Route 6).

West end Richmonders may find Highway 6, (Patterson), convenient. Pass through “Goochland”, 
“George's Tavern”, and “Columbia”, and follow “2), option B” from the Rivanna River bridge onward.

4) Coming from the west, (the Charlottesville” side), on I-64:

Exit I-64 at “Zion Crossroads”, where Highway 15 crosses I-64. 
(Signs on I-64 mention “Fork Union Military Academy” and “Palmyra”.)

Proceed SOUTH on Highway 15, passing through “Palmyra”, and on to “Fork Union”.

Follow “1), option A” from Fork Union to the farm.
